The research arm of the Department of Family Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine, is dedicated to research to improve health and lives of the residents of Indiana. In an effort to develop real solutions to society's problems, the Department of Family Medicine research faculty and staff collaborate on a variety of research projects which offer new vision and hope for Indiana's health care utilization and system outcomes.
The Department of Family Medicine is dedicated to workforce development within the state of Indiana. The mission of the Bowen Center for Health Workforce Research & Policy is to improve population health by contributing to informed health workforce policy through data management, community engagement, and original research.
